Prior to use Read the operating manual carefully. It contains important information about the use, safety and maintenance of the appliance. It should be kept in a safe place and passed on to further users if appropriate. The device may only be used for the intended purpose according to these operat- ing instructions.
Start-up The kettle is made from stainless steel and original Schott DURAN® glass. It is heat resistant, stable, neutral tasting and easy to clean. Thoroughly clean the inside of the pot prior to the first use. To do so, open the lid by pressing the button on the handle.

Cleaning and maintenance Remove the mains plug and allow the device to cool down. Do not immerse the device in water, but rather clean them with a damp cloth with a little washing-up fluid and then dry off. Do not use any sharp and abrasive cleaning agents. You can remove the lid for easy cleaning.

Descaling Limescale deposits lead to losses of energy and impair the service life of the device. It shuts off prematurely if the limescale layer is too thick. It can then only be removed with great difficulty. Therefore descale regularly. We recommend using Croamrgol®. This is highly effective and non-abrasive. ▪...
