If you connect a component that does not conform to the selected
audio signal, a loud noise (or no sound) will come out from the
speakers, which could damage your ears or speakers.

Connect the AV amplifier (receiver) to a TV with the HDMI
cord.
Connect the player to the TV with a video cord other than
an HDMI cord ( video cord).
HDMI connector with the jack. Do not bend or apply
pressure to the HDMI cord.
