Runthecompressorforaminimumof20minutesinthis“no-load”positiontolubricatethepiston. 3. CloseAirTankDrainValve.Yourcompressorisreadyforuse. 4. SeepneumatictoolinstructionsforinstructionsonhowtoconnectatooltoyourAirCompressor. DependingontheCFMdrawofthetoolsbeingoperated,yournewAirCompressorcanbeusedforop- eratingpaintsprayers,airtools,greaseguns,airbrushes,caulkingguns,abrasiveblasters,tire&plastic toyinflation,sprayingweedkillerandinsecticides,etc.ProperadjustmentoftheAirPressureRegulator isnecessaryforalloftheseoperations.Refertotheairpressurespecificationsprovidedwiththetool youareusing. General Overview 1. Tocompressair,thepistonmovesupanddowninthecylinder.Onthedownstrokeairisdrawn inthroughthevalveinlet.Thedischargevalveremainsclosed.Ontheupstrokeofthepistonairis compressed. 2. Theinletvalveclosesandairisforcedoutthroughthedischargevalve,throughtheCheckValve, andintotheAirTank. 3. WorkingairisnotavailableuntiltheAirCompressorhasraisedthetankpressureabovethatre- quiredattheairserviceconnection. 4. Theairinletfilteropeningsmustbekeptclearofobstructions,whichcouldreduceairdeliveryofthe compressor. Air Pressure Adjustment 1. AdirtyAirFilterwillnotallowyourAirCompressortooperateatfullcapacity.Beforeyouuseyour AirCompressor,checktheAirFiltertobesureitisclean.Ifitisdirtyreplacethefilterelement. Note:  O ilwillbegintodrainastheOilSightGlassisloosened.Makesureafunnelandoilpanare inplaceBEFORElooseningtheOilSightGlass. 2. OncetheOilSightGlassisremoved,tiltyourAirCompressorforwardstoallowalltheoilto drainoutoftheCrankcase. 3. Oncetheoilisdrained,replacetheOilSightGlassandsecurelytighteninplacewithawrench. BecarefulnottoovertightentheOilSightGlass,asthiscoulddamagetherubberseal. 4. PlaceyourAirCompressoronlevelsurface. 5. RemovetheOilBreatherCap. 6. Slowlypourtheoilintotheoilfillhole,untiltheoillevelrisestothecenterofthereddotonthe OilSightGlass. 7. InstalltheOilBreatherCapintotheoilfillhole. 8. AlwaysinspectAirCompressorbeforeuse,andmakesureitisingoodworkingcondition.Use compressedairtocleanthemachinewherepossible. 9.
