    CHAPTER 3: Installation 3. Installation 3.1 Installation Steps Follow these steps to install the converter: 1. Disconnect your monitor from the monitor port on your PC. 2. Using the reversible 6-ft. (1.8-m) input cable provided with the converter, connect one end to the monitor port on your computer and the other end to the connector on the rear panel of the converter marked either VGA In or Mac In.
