VGA-to-CAT5 Video Splitters and Receiver 1. Introduction 1.1 General This manual describes the features, setup, and operation of the Black Box 2 and 4 channel VGA-to-CAT5 Video Splitters/Extenders and their corresponding Receiver. The splitters convert a PC's VGA signal into a format that can be transmitted using inexpensive and commonly available Category- 5/5e/6 Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cable to 500 feet away. -
