Engaging
the Blades
Engaging the PTO (Blade Engage) transfers power to the cutting
d e c k . T o e n g a g e t h e b l a d e s , p r o c e e d a s f o l l o w s :

M o v e t h e t h r o t t l e c o n t r o l l e v e r t o t h e F A S T ( r a b b i t )

p o s i t i o n .
Grasp the PfO @lade Engage) lever and pivot it all the way
f o r w a r d i n t o t h e e n g a g e d ( O N ) p o s i t i o n .
K e e p t h e t h r o t t l e l e v e r i n t h e F A S T ( r a b b i t ) p o s i t i o n f o r t h e
m o s t e f f i c i e n t u s e o f t h e c u t t i n g d e c k .
f MPORTANT: The PTO (Blade Engage) lever must be in the
d i s e n g a g e d ( O F F ) p o s i t i o n w h e n s t a r t i n g t h e e n g i n e , w h e n
traveling in reverse, and if the operator leaves the seat. Refer to
