Alkaline/NiMH Switch
The USB cable is provided for you to charge
rechargeable batteries placed in your radio via your
PC or laptop with an output of 5V.
Battery Warnings
If you prefer to use Nickel-Metal-Hydride batteries, before installing
·
them, flick the switch inside the battery compartment to NIMH, likewise,
flick the switch to Alkaline side when 3 Alkaline batteries are installed.
This unit has a charge management circuit that ensures that it is never
·
over-charged. Normally, the charge needs about 5 hours, it will
automatically stop charging, when the battery is full.
Please do not reverse polarity of batteries nor mix battery types, and do
·
not mix old and new batteries.
If you will not use the radio for an extended period, please take the
·
batteries out to avoid damage to the radio.

Battery Operation

1. Push the triangle on the back of the unit down to open the battery door.
2. Place batteries, matching polarity with the markings on the radio and
replace the cover.
3. Press , the unit will turn on.
