BEFORE YOU BEGIN

This water line installation is not warranted by the
refrigerator or icemaker manufacturer. Follow
these instructions carefully to minimize the risk of
expensive water damage.
Water hammer (water banging in the pipes) in
house plumbing can cause damage to
refrigerator parts and lead to water leakage or
flooding. Call a qualified plumber to correct water
hammer before installing the water supply line to
the refrigerator.
To prevent burns and product damage, do not
hook up the water line to the hot water line.
If you use your refrigerator before connecting the
water line, make sure the icemaker power switch
is in the O (off) position.
Do not install the icemaker tubing in areas where
temperatures fall below freezing.

BEFORE INSTALLATION

Automatic ice maker operation needs water
pressure of 147 ~ 834 kPa (1.5 ~ 8.5kgf/cm2)
(That is, an instant paper cup (180cc) will be
fully filled within 5sec.).
If water pressure does not reach the rating
147kPa (1.5kgf/cm) or below, it is necessary
to purchase a separate pressure pump for
normal automatic icing and cool water
dispensing.
Keep the total length of the feed water pipe
tube within 8 m and be careful not to bend
sharply or kink tube. If the tube is 8 m or longer
it may cause trouble.
Ensure the feed water pipe is not installed
close to any heat source.
WARNING
Connect to drinkable water supply only.
Refer to instructions with water filter kit for installation.
