by authorized service personnel only.

The AN-SD1 serial digital interface (SDI) board can be
installed in a Sharp projector to input and output SDI
composite and component signals to and from D1, D2,
D3, DVC Pro, Digital Betacam and other digital VTRs and
video equipment. Before installing and using this SDI
board, be sure to thoroughly read the operation manual
accompanying the projector.

SDI INPUT (BNC) terminal
Connects to VTR and video equipment with SDI
connections for inputting SMPTE 259M-A
(composite SDI) and SMPTE 259M-C (component
SDI) signals.

Outputs digital signals input through the INPUT
terminal when power on the projector and video
equipment is on. (Active through output)

Inputs analog audio signals.
• The SDI INPUT terminal only decodes video signals.
• To input analog audio signals, use the AUDIO INPUT terminal.
• The following cables are recommended for use with the SDI INPUT/
OUTPUT terminals: 5C-2V (JIS certified) or RG-6A/U (UL certified)
coaxial cables.

Checking the Status of the SDI Board
1. When the SDI board is installed, select "Options"
from the menu screen. "SDI Board" will appear for
the Option Board setting.
2. Select "SDI Board" and the SDI board status will
be displayed.

vidéo muni de connexions SDI pour l'entrée de
signaux SMPTE 259M-A (Composite SDI) et

Sort les signaux numériques entrés par le terminal

• La prise d'entrée SDI INPUT décode uniquement les signaux vidéo.
• Pour entrer les signaux audio analogiques, utilisez la prise d'entrée
audio (AUDIO INPUT).
• Nous vous recommandons d'utiliser les câbles suivants avec les
prises d'entrée sortie SDI: câbles coaxiaux 5C-2V (certifié JIS) ou
RG-6A/U (cerifié UL)

Vérification de l'état de la carte SDI
1. Quand la carte SDI est installée, choisissez
«Options» à partir de l'écran de menus. «Carte
numérique SDI» apparaît pour le réglage de la
carte optionnelle.
2. Choisissez «Carte numérique SDI» et l'état de la
carte SDI est affiché.
