BEFORE INSTALLATION
-The vacuum tube solar collector should face north or north ouest in the southern hemisphere and south or
south ouest in the Nortern hemisphere.
-Be sure there is no leakage in pipeline , joints, valves and so on.
-First time water filling should be done in the morning or evening, avoid to do so when the temperature is
high‐ to avoid thermic shock on tubes.
-In order to avoid getting scald, turn on the cold water valve firstly and then turn on the hot water valve.
A water tempering valve has to be fitted for children safety.
-When using the electrical heater, make sure the water tank is full. Do not use it without water. The
electrical sockets must have reliable ground connection.
-In area where the water pressure is high, please turn down the filling water valve, so cold water can enter
into the water tank slowly.
-Tube end should be mirror like, if not it means the tube is not in vacuum condition anymore. In cas of mist
presence call your Helios dealer to change the tube.
-Maintain the venting hole always open.
-Keep the tank full while winding. In case of thunder, pull off the electrical plug.
-In case of strong wind, fix the bracket/ frame firmly.
-Do not change or modify the structure of the Solar Heater .
