Use when taking a series of pictures that will later be joined to form a single panorama using
the supplied Panorama Maker software.
• Camera focuses on subject in center of frame.

Shooting Pictures for a Panorama
The camera focuses on the subject in the center of the frame. Use a tripod for best
results. Set
Vibration reduction
(~ 105) to
Off
when using a tripod to stabilize
the camera during shooting.

Use the multi selector to choose

Panorama assist
in the scene menu and
press@.
The panorama direction icon
([»)
is displayed to show the
direction in which pictures will be joined.

Use the multi selector to choose the direction
and press@.
Select how pictures will be joined together in the
completed panorama; right ([»), left (j), up (6) or down
('7).
The yellow panorama direction icon
([)[»)
points in the
selected direction and becomes the white panorama
direction icon
([»)
when
®
is pressed. Apply flash mode (~ 28), self-timer (~ 30), focus
mode (~ 31) and exposure compensation (~ 32) settings with this step, if necessary.
Press

to reselect the direction.
