- Page 2 CQ-Series Manual Thank you for purchasing the American Weigh CQ-Series digital calculator scale. Please read all operating instructions carefully before use. This electronic scale is a precision instrument. With normal care and proper treatment, it will provide years of reliable service. Never load the scale with more than the maximum capacity.
- Page 3 I. WEIGHING Place Scale on a flat, level surface. 1. Press [ ON/OFF ] key to turn the scale on. 2. Wait until "0.0” is displayed. 3. Place the object(s) to be weighed onto the weighing platform. 4. By pressing the [ MODE ] key, you can switch between weighing units.
- Page 4 2. Press the [ ] key to switch to Weight Only mode. 3. Place the object(s) to be weighed onto the weighing platform. 4. By pressing the [ MODE ] key, you can switch between weighing units. 5. The [ AC ] button can be used to lock the weight. Press once more to unlock.
- Page 5 Calibration is NOT required before first use. Only calibrate if the scale is not weighing properly. The CQ-500 calibrates with a 500g weight* The CQ-350 calibrates with a 350g weight* *Weight not included. 1. Turn on the scale by pressing the [ ON/OFF ] key.
