Canada, the current CSA C22-1 Canadian Electrical Code - latest edition.
Mobile Home Construction and Safety Standard, Title 24 CFR, Part 3280 (in
Canada CAN/CSA Z240 MH), or, when such a standard is not applicable, the
Standard for Mobile Home Installations, ANSI A225.1.
In the U.S., the National Fire Protection Association's Code, NFPA 211, Standards
for Chimneys, Fireplaces, Vents and Solid-Fuel-Burning Appliances, or similar
regulations, may apply to the installation of a Solid-Fuel-Burning appliance in your
area. In Canada, the guideline is established by the CSA Standard, CAN/CSA-
B365-M93, Installation Code for Solid-Fuel-Burning Appliances and Equipment.
Prefabricated metal chimneys must be listed to UL 103 or ULC S629 standards
(HT chimney - 2100° Fahrenheit).
The chimney connector shall not pass through an attic or roof space, closet or
similar concealed space, or a floor, or ceiling. Where passage through a wall,
or partition of combustible construction is desired, the installation shall conform
to CAN/CSA-B365.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
In Canada the hearth or floor protection area must extend a minimum of
18" to the front of the fuel door opening and 8" beyond both sides.

There must be an effective vapor barrier at the location where the
chimney or other component penetrates to the exterior of the structure.
Follow the vent manufacturer's detailed instructions.
Do not operate the stove with the doors open or ajar, as this will
produce extreme temperatures within the stove. Damage caused
from over-firing is not covered under the manufacturers limited
warranty.
WARNING: BURNING IMPROPER FUEL (I.E. CHARCOAL) CAN
RESULT IN CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING, WHICH MAy LEAD
TO DEATH!
Carbon monoxide poisoning – early signs of carbon monoxide poi-
soning resemble the flu with headaches, dizziness, or nausea. If you
have these signs, get fresh air at once! Have the heater inspected
by a qualified service technician. Some people are more affected
by carbon monoxide than others. These include pregnant women,
people with heart or lung disease or anemia, those under the influ-
ence of alcohol, and those at high altitudes.

Ne pas opérer cet appareil avec les portes ouvertes ou enlevées
car cela produit une chaleur extrême à l'intérieur du poêle. Les
dommages causés par une surchauffe ne sont pas couverts par la
garantie limitée du fabricant.

sous l'influence de l'alcool et celles qui habitent à haute altitude
sont aussi affectées.
