    CDR-D651 DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURES (Remove parts in the order as numbered.) Disconnect the power cord from the AC outlet. 1. Removal of Top Cover a. Remove 4 screws (1) and 3 screws (2) in Fig. 1. b. Remove the Top Cover.

While pushing the claw (0) to the left, release the pin on the left side of the Pick-up Mechanism Unit from the CD mechanism chassis. (Fig. 5) b. Release the pin on the right side by sliding the Pick-up Mechanism Unit toward the left, and then slide the Pick- up Mechanism Unit by moving it rearward.
