Installing/Replacing the battery Turn your pager off, hold the pager face down, slide the battery door lock away from the door and open the battery compartment by pressing down with your thumb on the battery door and sliding the battery door in the direction indicated by the arrow on the battery door.
Turning the Backlight ON/OFF The backlight allows viewing of messages in low light conditions. To turn the backlight On, press and hold for 2 seconds The Backlit will automatically turn off after 10 seconds of no buttons being pressed To immediately turn the backlit Off, press and hold for 2 seconds If the buttons pressed in the dark the backlight is automatically turned on...

Main Screen Pressing any of the buttons on the Standby Screen will provide access to the Main Screen. The Main Screen shows both the current status of message folders (Inbox/Info/Saved) and the time and date. The Main Screen also displays any activated pager settings on the left Main Screen hand side.

Inbox Folder The Inbox Folder Screen shows information about your Inbox messages. - Status: Unread, read or locked - Timestamp: Month/Day - Preview: First and second line of message Inbox Folder Screen Note: The status of an unread message will not change by previewing the message.
Info Folder Screen The Inbox Folder Screen shows information about your Inbox messages. - Status: Unread, read or locked - Timestamp: Month/Day - Preview: First and second line of message Info Folder Screen Saved Folder Screen The Saves Folder Screen shows information about your Inbox messages.

Setting Message Alert You can set the following message alerts: Vibe Audible Silent Chirp Vibe and Chirp In addition, you may select from 7 Pleasing Alerts. The #7 Pleasing Alert is the Continuous Alert, which alerts Set Message Alert Screen until the message is read.
Setting Audible ON/OFF If the device alerting is audible it can be quickly toggled to vibe. From the Function menu: Press to move the cursor to display "SET AUDIBLE ON/OFF" Press to toggle the Audible Setting If the Audible On function is set ( ), the pager will alert.
