Acknowledging an Appointment
When an appointment
"comes
due,"
the
HP-275
beeps
and the
ap-
pointment annunciator
comes
on.*
If
the appointment
has a
message,
it
is displayed; otherwise, the HP-275 displays the date and time.
If
the
calculator
is turned
off
,
it
turns itself on
to
announce
the
appointment.
*
If
the HP-275 is
in
the
middle
of
a complex
calculation when an appointment
comes due,
the appointment annunciator
comes
on and the
calculator
beeps
once.
When the
calculation
is
done,
the
HP-27S displays
the
message
and
resumes
beeping
for 20
seconds.
The beeper
does
not
sound
in
BEEPER
OFF
mode.
