Page 5: Portion Control
PORTION CONTROL This dispenser is supplied with a portion control timer. This portion control is based on a time setting. Variations in product temperature and consistency will affect the dispensed amount. To insure a consistent portion, use product that is at the correct temperature (145°F to 160°). SPDE2 models have a Portion Control Label showing approximate settings for portion size in oz, see Fig 1. -

CHANGING TEMPERATURE SET-POINT The dispenser is preset at the factory for a temperature of 145°F. If a different temperature is required, the set point can be changed in a range from 140°F to 160°F. To change the temperature: 1. Press SET. "SP" will appear in the display. 2. - Page 7 LIMITED EQUIPMENT WARRANTY All workmanship and material in Star products have a one (1) year limited warranty on parts & labor in the United States and Canada. Such warranty is limited to the original purchaser only and shall be effective from the date the equipment is placed in service. Star's obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair of defects without charge, by the factory authorized service agency or one of its sub-agencies.
