Getting Started

Carefully remove your Sound Base from the box. You may want to store the packaging for
future use.

Setting Up your Sound Base
n
This unit is designed to be positioned under your TV. The unit supports a TV up to a
maximum dimension of 48 cm (W) x 30 cm (D) for its base and within a maximum load of
30 kg.
Avoid the following locations:
n
Where the unit will be exposed to direct sunlight.
n
Where the unit will be close to heat radiating sources.
n
Where the humidity is high and ventilation is poor.
n
Where it is dusty.
n
Where it is damp or there is a possibility of water dripping or splashing onto unit.
Adjusting the Antenna
Screw the DAB+/FM antenna to DAB/FM ANT. socket. Extend the soft antenna to ensure you
receive the best reception possible for both DAB+ and FM radio modes. It may be necessary
to adjust the position of the unit and /or antenna to achieve the best signal reception.
Turning the Unit On/Off
Connect the power cord to the AC IN socket on the back of the unit. Then insert the plug on
the other end of power cord into the mains socket. Press STANDBY/ON button to switch the
unit on or standby. To switch the unit off completely, unplug the power cord from the mains
socket.
Automatic Power Off Function
The unit automatically turns to standby mode after 10 minutes if the TV or the external unit is
disconnected, switched off or the volume is too close to mute in Bluetooth, AUX IN 1 Input,
AUX IN 2 Input, Optical 1 Input, Optical 2 Input and Coaxial Input mode.
Volume Control
Adjust the unit volume by pressing or button.
