Before changing accessories, adjus ting
or storing the tool, re move the re­
chargeable battery from the tool and
push the switch into OFF or locked position.
With these preventive mea sures you can
avoid unintentional starting.
• Always fasten the sockets securely in order to
avoid that the socket loosens.
• Only use parts, attachments and accessories
that are recommended by the manufacturer.
• Do not carry the tool with a finger on the opera­
tion trigger.
• Avoid unintentional starting.
• Handles should be clean, dry and free of oil and
grease.
• Always keep the work area clean, well venti­
lated and well lit.
• Do not use the tool under the influence of
alcohol or drugs.
• Any repairs must be carried out by authorized
persons only.
• Do not clean plastic parts with solvents.
• Solvents like benzine, carbon tetrachloride and
alcohol can deform plastic parts or make them
break. Keep these solvents away from the tool.

• Before putting the charging station into service,
please read all instructions and labels on:
1. the charging station,
2. the rechargeable battery.
• Never expose the charging station to rain or
snow.
• Working temperature for li­Ion batteries:
-10 up to +40 ° C for discharging
0 up to +40 ° C for charging
• Working temperature for battery charger:
0 up to +40 ° C

• Before starting cleaning or maintenance work,
disconnect the charging station from the power
socket in order to avoid electric shock. Removing
the rechargeable battery will not reduce the risk.
• Improper use of the charging station may provoke
serious injuries.
How to avoid these dangers:
• Never disassemble the rechargeable
battery.
• Never throw the rechargeable battery into a fire,
even if it is damaged or completely worn out. Risk
of explosion!
• Do not short-circuit the rechargeable battery.
• Never put objects into the charging station's ven-
tilation holes because this may provoke electric
shocks or damage the charging station.
• Do not charge the battery outdoors.
• Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight.
• The charging should only take place in well ven-
tilated places with a low moisture.
• Do not charge the battery if the temperature is
below 0°C (32°F) or above 40°C (104°F).
• Do not charge a cool/cold battery until it has
reached room temperature.
• Never connect two charging stations.
• Never introduce objects into the battery recep-
tion.
• Never use a transformer amplifier for charging.
• Never use a motor generator or direct current for
charging.
• Do not store the charging station or the recharge-
able battery in places where the temperature can
exceed 40°C (104°F).
• The charging station must only be used with
100 - 240 V standard power sockets.
Higher voltages may provoke an overheating or
damage of the charging station.
• Always respect a 15-minutes break between
several charging procedures in order to avoid the
charging station's overheating.
• Always disconnect the charging station from the
power supply when it is not in use.
