• Wear work gloves and eye pro
tection. Power tools can raise
chips, dust and other abraded
particles at high speed what may
result in severe eye injuries.
• use ear protection. Long exhibi-
tion to the working noise of an
impact wrench may result in a
permanent hearing loss.
• Wear face or dust mask. Cord-
less tools produce dust and other
abraded particles that may cause
harm to the lungs or the respira-
tory tracts. Breathing in the steam
of some materials like adhesives
and tar that contain dangerous
chemicals can cause serious
harms.
• Wear properfitting protective
clothing. Tools with rotating parts
or tools that power other tools,
e.g. sockets etc. can get caught in
the hair, clothing, jewellery or other loose objects
what may result in severe injuries. Never wear
too large clothing and/or clothing
with bands or loops which may
get caught in the rotating parts of
the tool. During the work, take off
jewellery, watches, identification
tags, bracelets, necklaces etc.
that could get caught in the tool. Never touch
the moving parts of a tool. Long hair should be
covered or tied together.
Always wear personal protective clothing and safety equipment!

or other persons.
• use perfect, impactproof sockets only. Low-
quality, unsuitable or defective tools like sockets
etc. may loosen during opera tion and can be flung
throughout the work area, what may result in very
severe injuries. Only use sockets for impact opera-
tion that are approved for the speed of the tool.
Do not use impact sockets that have fallen down,
been shocked or damaged during operation.
• When working with impact wrenches, only use
sockets that are suitable for impact operation.
• Beware of reaction torques. Beware of the oc-
currence of reaction torques and a pos sible break
of the operated tool. In restricted spaces, reaction
torques may lead to injuries. Countermeasures
have to be taken against suddenly occurring reac-
tion torques.
• Do not use the tool in explosive atmosphere.
Power tools like impact wrenches can produce
sparks that may ignite combus tible materials.
Never operate tools in proximity to combustible
substances like petrol, naphtha, detergents etc.
Work in well-cleaned and well-ventilated areas
only. Keep combustible materials out of the work
area.
• Do not point the tool at any person. Keep chil-
dren and other persons out of the work area when
operating the tool.
• Do not let the tool rotate in noload operation
with a socket attached. Sockets may loosen or
break off and could be flung throughout the work
area and hit the user or other persons.
• The user must stop the operation of tools im-
mediately, if not feeling well.
• Vibration, repeating movements or uncomfortable
position can harm hands and arms.
• Power tools in use can vibrate.
Keep children away from power tools.
Unattended tools may be used by non-
authorized persons and could injure them
