DOOR REVERSAL
WARNING: Unplug the refrigerator before performing door reversal process. Failureto unplug
may result in serious injury or death from electrical shock.
CAUTION: To avoid personal injury and property damage, obtain assistance from another person
to perform the door reversal process.
1.Removethe two screws securing the cabinet top plate to the back of cabinet.
2. Removethe six screws securingthe door overhang plate to cabinet top plate at front of cabinet.
3. Raisethe cabinet top piate and rest on roof of cabinet to reveal top door hinge bracket.
4. Removethe two screws securingtop door hinge bracket to cabinet. Removebracket. Replace
outer screw in cabinet.
NOTE: Be careful to retain all washers and gaskets in position when removing and replacing hinges.
5. Open and remove door from lower hinge bracket post.Set door aside.
6. With fiat blade tool carefully remove hole plug on opposite side of cabinet and transfer to hole
remaining from top hinge bracket removal.
7. Removefour screws securing lower hinge bracket to base of cabinet. Remove bracket.
8. Removelevelling foot and corner screw from cabinet base and transfer to corresponding holes
on opposite side.
9. Removelevelling foot knob from lower hinge bracket. Use a 12mm wrench to remove and reverse
hole position of bracket post. Usefiat blade screwdriver to remove and reverse hole position of
bracket door lift screw.
10.Usefour previously removed screws to attach lower hinge bracket to cabinet base. Mount
door on bracket post.
11. R emoveplastic cap from top hinge bracket post.Use fiat blade screwdriver to remove and
reverse hole position of bracket post. Replace cap.
12.Removescrew from top corner of cabinet. Insert hinge post into door hole. Use two
previously removed screws to attach top hinge bracket to cabinet.
13.Usesix previously removed screws to attach door overhang plate to cabinet top plate.
On hinge side of overhang plate, insert screws through plate and hinge bracket so that hinge
is not exposed.
14. Usetwo previously removed screws to attach back of cabinet top plate to cabinet.
CAUTION: If the freezer has been placed in a horizontal or tilted position for ease of door
reversal,wait 24 hours before plugging it in. Plugging insooner may result in permanent damage
to cooling system.
Initial
Use
To reach the set coldness level when operating the freezer for the first time, run it without food
load until you hear the compressor stop. This usually takes 24 hours.Once the set temperature is
reached, load food into the freezer.
Note:
If the freezer has been placed in a horizontal or
tilted position for any period of time,wait 24 hours before plugging it in.
Temperature Control
The first time you turn the unit on, adjust the temperature control knob
to Recommended setting and give your freezer time to cool down
completely before adding food; a fuji 24 hours is recommended. After
it is fully cooled, test it and adjust towards COLD to make lesscool
or towards COLDESTto cool more to best suit your needs.

Note: Turningthe temperature control knob to the OFF position will stop the
cooling cycle but does not shut off power to the unit.
Defrosting
Your Freezer
For maximum energy efficiency,
defrost the freezer
whenever
frost accumulates to a thickness
of 1/8" or more on freezer walls. Note that frost tends to accumulate more during the summer months.
To defrost freezer,
open the freezer door. Remove ali food and unplug the freezer.
Defrosting may take several hours, so store food in another freezer
in the meantime. To speed up defrost time, keep the door open and place a bowI of warm water in the
freezer.
After defrosting, empty and wipe down the interior of the freezer.
Restartthe freezer by plugging it in and turning the temperature control to the desired setting.
CAUTION: Do not use boiling water to melt frost accumulation on freezer walls, as it may damage
plastic parts.
WARNING: DO NOT use a sharp or metallic instrumentto remove frost from the refrigerator interior,
as damage to refrigerant tubing may occur. Tubing damage may allow flammable refrigerant gas
leakage, which can result in personal injury.
Normal Operating Sounds You May Hear
Boiling water, gurgling sounds or slight vibrations that are the resultof the
refrigerant circulating through the cooling coils
The thermostatcontrol will click when it cycles on and off.
