Thank you for choosing the Prodigy Voice® blood glucose
monitoring system. This quick reference offers easy
instructions on how to use your Prodigy Voice® meter
effectively. A Voice meter audio manual CD is also included
in the meter box and an instructional video is available at
www.prodigymeter.com.
Blood Glucose Testing
Wash your hands and the intended sample site before
and after using the system or obtaining blood samples.
Use only fresh capillary blood samples for testing.
Always use a new sterile lancet and keep the lancing
device clean.
Applying Blood Correctly
With the test strip inserted,
bring the meter close to
your finger or other test site
and place beside the blood
drop. The blood will
automatically be drawn into the absorbent channel once
the test strip is close enough to the blood drop. Do NOT
smear blood onto the test strip or place the blood on top
of the test strip.

Recalling Individual Test Results
Your meter stores 450 of the most
recent blood glucose test results with
date and time in its memory. With the
meter powered off, press the "M"
button to turn the meter on. Press the
"M" button again to enter memory
mode. Your most recent test result
will appear with date and time. Use
the Up and Down buttons to navigate
through all individual test results.
Recalling Test Result Averages
With the meter powered off, press the "M" button to
turn the meter on. Press and hold the "M" button for
3 seconds to enter Memory Average Mode. Your 7
Day Average will appear. Use the Up and Down
buttons to scroll through the 7, 14, 21, 30, 60 and 90
day averages.
