7.3.1 Search by Voice
1. On the Google Search bar, tap
TIP: Alternative way to launch Voice Search
application from your home screen, tap Voice
Search.
2. Say what you want to search.
3. When you are finished speaking, Voice Search
analyzes your speech and displays the results of
your search.
• If Voice Search misunderstands you, Quick
Search Box presents a list of similar-sounding
search terms.
• To make a new search, tap
7.4 Google Maps
Use Google Maps to find places, view traffic and direction information, and find your
friends' location.
NOTE: The Google Maps application is not available in every country or city.
Before starting Maps, do the following:
1. Tap Settings > Location access.
2. Tap GPS satellites to enable the function.

Viewing Map
1. Tap Maps.
2. Tap
to show your current location. Your current location is indicated by the
blue marker (

Searching for a location
1. While viewing a map, tap
2. Enter the place you want to search in the search box.
3. Tap
on the on-screen keyboard to search for the location. You can also
select from the suggestions list.
