  • Page 5 Safety instructions BordBar CDF-11 The cooling device is not suitable for transporting caustic materials or materials containing solvents. Do not open the refrigerant circuit under any circumstances! Connect the device with the 12/24 V lead supplied to a 12/24 V socket.

    Note To operate the device using a 220-240 V~ mains supply, we recommend using a WAECO rectifier (accessory). Caution! If you wish to cool medicines, please check if the cooling capacity of the device is suitable for the medicine in question.

    Technical description BordBar CDF-11 Technical description The cooler can chill products, keep them cool as well as freeze them. A main- tenance-free, CFC-free refrigerant circuit with compressor provides the cool- ing. The cooler is suitable for mobile use. When used in vehicles the cooler can be secured with the seat belt.

    Operation BordBar CDF-11 Operation The device is equipped with an interior LED light which remains on whenever power is connected. The power consumption of this LED light is extremely low and insignificant compared to the overall power consumption of the device.
  • Page 10 Operation BordBar CDF-11 Securing the cooler in the vehicle ➤ Open the lid of the cooler. ➤ Place the seat belt into the fixing position (fig. 1 3, page 2) of the cooler. ➤ Close the lid. ➤ Fasten the seat belt and tighten it.

    Operation BordBar CDF-11 ➤ Press the “ON/OFF” button (fig. 2 1, page 2) for three seconds. ✓ The “POWER” LED (fig. 2 2, page 2) lights up green. When the cooler reaches the preset temperature, the LED lights up orange.
  • Page 12 Operation BordBar CDF-11 Note When switched off by the battery monitor due to low voltage the display (fig. 2 5, page 2) goes blank and the “POWER” LED (fig. 2 2, page 2) flashes orange. Caution – Danger of damage! When switched off by the battery monitor, the battery will no longer be fully charged.
