Recording analog
audio to an USB device
You can record the sound from analog
audio sources.

Connect an USB device to the
(USB) port

Press FUNCTION +/
repeatedly to select the desired
source.
• TAPE A/B: To record from this
system's tape deck.
• TUNER FM/AM: To record from
this system's tuner.
• DMPORT: To record from the
optional DIGITAL MEDIA PORT
adapter connected to the DMPORT.
• VIDEO/SAT: To record from the
optional component connected to
the VIDEO SAT AUDIO IN L/R
jacks.
If the playback direction of the tape is

set to "CYCLE, " the system will record
both sides of the tape five times. If you
want to stop at one recording, be sure
to set the playback direction of the
tape to "RELAY" or "1WAY. "
Recording continues even though tape

playback has ended.

Press REC TO USB
"PLEASE WAIT" appears and the
display cycles between "xxxMB
FREE" (remaining space on the USB
device) and "PUSH ENTER. "
The USB device stands by for
recording.

Start playing the desired source
to record, then press ENTER
"USB" and "REC" light up and
recording starts.
To stop recording, press 
To remove the USB device

to stop playback.

to turn off the system.

Remove the USB device.
To mark track numbers
You can mark the track numbers during
recording of any source.
Press REC TO USB
recording at the point you want to add a
track mark.
"NEW TRACK" appears and a track
mark is added.
