The heated hand grips option
can only be activated when the
engine is running.
The increased power
consumption caused by
operating the heated hand
grips can lead to the battery
discharging on journeys in the
lower engine speed range. If
the charge level is low, grip
heating is switched off to
ensure the battery's starting
capability.c
