REBUILDING
THERMOSTAT
Removal and Installation
2 Disconnect
the
upper
radiator hose
at
the
water
outlet
3 Loosen
the
two
secunng
nuts
and
remove
the
water
outlet
gasket
and the
thermostat from the thermostat
housmg
4
Install the thermostat
In
the
reverse
order of removal
usmg
a new
gasket WIth
sealer and with the thermostat
spnng
to
ward the mSlde of the
engme
ALL ENGINES
1 Dram
the
engme
coolant
mto
a
clean
contamer
so
that the level
IS
below
the thermostat
housmg
