The base chosen for the cylinder should be level and capable of supporting the weight of the unit when full of water as shown in General Data. The immersion heaters must be earthed and they must be isolated from the mains before the cover is removed on every occasion. Replacement immersion heaters should be obtained from Gledhill Building Products Limited.
