    Description The V5400MUX Digital Color Multiplexer provides on-screen display of four camera inputs combined with numerous additional functions.     Programming Function All programming is done with the front panel keys. There are thirteen keys on the front panel. The key named MENU, 1/ , 2/ , 3/ , 4/ , and QUAD/ENTER are used in programming units The TITLE, VCR, ALM, ZOOM, FRZ, PIP and SEQ keys are not used in programming the unit. Functions of each key on the front panel are described in Table 1.

    TIME FORMAT 24 HOURS (0000-2359) TO EXIT PRESS (ENTER) KEY Press the 1/ and 2/ key to toggle and select the required format. The options are : 12 HOURS (AM/PM) 24 HOURS (0000-2359) Press the Enter key to exit the menu. 5.1.2 Date Format Select DATE FORMAT and press the Enter key.

    Press the 3/ or 4/ key to move the cursor to the required position. Press the 1/ or 2/ key to establish the necessary digit. (Calendars until the year 2099 are in this menu.) Press the Enter key. Camera Setup This menu allows you to adjust the dwell times of the 4 camera video displays and the quad screens.

    5. 6 Event Log Record of the events, up to 220 events ( P-ON, PGM, ALM, V/L, A-CLR, ALM RS). Program event is only recorded when the contents are changed. If the event log is full filled with 220 events, recording will be stopped and “ EVENT FULL” message appears until the event log are deleted.

    Normal operating selections are made using the eight front panel keys, and functions are selected with a single key press. The V5400Mux may be controlled remotely by a user-provided dry contact control or by a host computer using a simple RS-232 command set.

    Computer Remote Control V5400Mux uses a very simple command set, each command consisting of three characters. The first character in all cases is the slash or virgule(/). The unit looks only for a three-character command, with an initial slash. It ignores all other characters.
