Power levels that are too high or cooking times that are too long may overheat foods resulting in a fire.

It is hazardous for anyone other than a competent person to carry out any service or repair operation which involves the removal of a cover which gives protection against exposure to microwave energy. Do not operate the oven with the door open or alter the door safety latches in any way.
  • Page 5 Important safety instructions Do not cook eggs in their shells, and whole hard boiled eggs should not be heated in microwave ovens since they may explode even after microwave cooking has ended. To cook or reheat eggs which have not been scrambled or mixed, pierce the yolks and the whites, or the eggs may explode.

Direct Start You can directly start cooking on 800 W/HIGH microwave power level for 30 seconds by pressing the START/QUICK button. 2. Extend the cooking time You can extend the cooking time for multiples of 30 seconds if the button is pressed while the oven is in operation.

    Recipes RECIPES All the recipes in this book are calculated on the basis of 4 servings unless otherwise stated. Adapting recipes for the microwave oven If you would like to adapt your favourite recipes for the microwave, you should take note of the following: Shorten cooking times by a third to a half.
