Sleep Mode

Activating Sleep Mode
Display goes completely dark and Sleep mode activates after a
period of inactivity.
Sleep mode prevents accidental Touch Panel operation.
・ Press
to activate Sleep mode anytime.
Canceling Sleep Mode
Open Slider. To cancel Sleep mode with Slider closed, follow
these steps:
・To cancel with Slider open, press a hard key.
Unlock window appears.
Drag to
Sleep mode is canceled.
・When Security Lock is active, unlock it as well.
Missed Calls & New Messages
Call/message icon appears in Unlock window. Drag icon up;
corresponding menu/window opens.

Software Update

Updating Software
At specified time, SoftBank 101SH automatically checks for/
downloads firmware updates as required. Follow these steps
to update firmware manually:
In Home Screen, Settings
Software update
Software update Execute
instructions
Software update starts.
Before Software Update
Always back up important information. SoftBank Mobile
cannot be held liable for damages from lost information,
etc.
Precautions
During Update
Handset is disabled until update is complete. Update may
take some time.
Signal Conditions
To reduce failure risk, be sure signal is strong and stable,
and charge battery adequately beforehand. Update failure
may disable handset.
