    ASSEMBLy INSTRUCTION BATTERY IMPORTANT! The battery pack is not charged when it is purchased. Before using the hedger for the first time, place the battery pack in the battery charger and charge. Make sure to read all safety precautions, and follow the instructions in the Battery Charger section. To remove the battery (See Figure 2.) : 1.

    OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS ON/Off SwITchES (See Figure 3.) The hedge trimmer has one switch controls and a lock-Off button used together to prevent ac- cidental start-ups or injury. 1. Place one hand on the trigger handle (1). Place the other hand on the Auxiliary handle. 2.
  • Page 12 OPERATION USINg THE ROTATINg REAR HANDLE (See Figure 4.) 1. Place the hedge trimmer on a flat and even surface. 2. Make sure that you released the trigger. 3. Press the lock button and begin turning the rear handle. Release the lock button and turn the handle 90 degrees to either side until it clicks into place and the button pops out.
