For the best result, please read this manual carefully as it is your best guide to the control menus and product operation.

    Safety instructions Your BenQ projector is designed and tested to meet the lastest standards for safety of information technology equipment. However, to ensure safe use of this product, it is important that you follow the instructions mentioned in this manual and marked on the product.

    Connecting various equipment When connecting any signal source to the projector, be sure to: 1. Turn off all equipment before making any connections. 2. Use the correct signal cable for each source. 3. Ensure the cables are firmly inserted. 4. Connect all audio signals to external speakers. This projector is not equipped with speakers. In the connections shown below, only certain cables are included in the standard package.

    How to use the on-screen display menus The projector is equipped with multilingual on screen display (OSD) menus for making various adjustments and settings. Select Setting > Language to select the OSD language before browsing through the menus. The following example describes the adjustment of the keystone value.

    Picture menu Some picture adjustments are available only when certain input ports are in use. Unavailable adjustments are not shown on the screen.     Additional information Care of the projector Your projector needs little maintenance. The only thing you have to do on a regular basis is keep the lens clean. Never remove any parts of the projector except the lamp. Contact your dealer if other parts needs replacing. Cleaning the lens Clean the lens whenever you notice dirt or dust on the surface.
