• If you rotate the focus ring while the focus
is locked, the focus lock indication [
blinks red.
• The exposure is set, even if the brightness
of the subject changes.
• The subject can be focused again by
pressing the shutter button halfway even
when AE is locked.
• Press the [FOCUS/AE LOCK] button once
more to cancel the AE lock.
• Program shift can be set even when AE is
locked.
• You can fix the focus and the exposure by
pressing the [FOCUS/AE LOCK] button. You
do not need to press the shutter halfway.
• The AE lock function cannot be used in
the Manual exposure mode, scene mode
or motion picture mode.
