Setup troubleshooting
Refer to the Lexmark Solution Center (see page 14) or the Online User's
Guide (see page 14) for help solving problems you may have after setting up
your printer, such as:

Slow print speed or poor print quality
•
Paper misfeeds or jams
•
Error messages or flashing lights
Use this chapter for help solving problems you may have while setting up your
printer.

When I inserted the printer software CD, nothing happened.

Close all open software applications.

Restart your computer.

Make sure you click Cancel on any screens similar to the one in step 1
on page 8.

Eject and reinsert the printer software CD.

From your desktop, double-click My Computer.

Double-click your CD-ROM drive icon. If necessary, double-click
setup.exe.

Continue with step 3 on page 8.
