Presetting
the
start
time,
Delay
Wash
You can delay the start time of the cycle.
1
Press the Power button and turn the cycle selector knob
to the desired cycle.

Modify the cycle settings and add other options (see
pages 25-28), if desired.

Press the Delay Wash button repeatedly to select the
desired start time.
- The Delay Wash indicator light will turn on.
- The set start time will appear on the display panel.
- Each press of the button increases the delay time by
one hour, up to 19 hours.

Press the Start/Pause button.
Efficient
cleaning,
Steam
Adding the Steam option to these cycles provides superior
cleaning performance.
By using hot steam from above and cooler water below, the
option from above and cooler water below, the option gives
laundry the cleaning benefits of a super hot wash, without
the energy usage or potential damage to fabrics.

Press the Power button and turn the cycle selector knob
to the desired cycle.

Press the Steam button. The washer will automatically
adjust the cycle settings.

Set any other desired options.

Press the Start/Pause button.
WARNING

= Do not touch the door during steam cycles. The door
surface can become very hot. Allow the door lock to
release before opening the door.
Do not attempt to override the door lock mechanism
or reach into the washer during a steam cycle. Steam
can cause severe burns.

NOTE
The steam option cannot be used with all cycles.
Steam may not be clearly visible during the steam
cycles. This is normal. Too much steam could damage
clothing.
Do not add steam to cycles when washing delicate
fabrics such as wool or silk, or non-colorfast fabrics.

Co_d Wash T_
Adding the Cold Wash TMoption reduces energy usage and
provides the same washing performance as a warm water
wash.
By using 6 different washing motions (Tumbling, Rolling,
Stepping, Scrubbing, Swinging and Filtration), fabrics get the
cleaning benefits, without the energy usage.

Press the Cold Wash TMbutton. The washer will
automatically adjust the cycle settings.

Set any other desired options.

Press the Start/Pause button.

When you select the Cold Wash TMoption, wash time
will be increased up to 10 minutes.
For high wash efficiency, use this option with less than
8 pounds of laundry.

Turbo
Wash T_
Adding the Turbo Wash TM option to normal cycles reduces
cycle time while providing the same wash performance.
The
option uses the Twin Spray and Optimization
features of the
washer to save time without sacrificing performance.

Press the Turbo Wash TMbutton. The washer will
automatically adjust the cycle settings.

Set any other desired options.

Press the Start/Pause button.
NOTE
The Turbo Wash TM option cannot be used with all
cycles.
Turbo Wash TMis available in the beginning of the
Cotton/Normal
and Perm. Press cycles.
Press and hold the Turbo Wash TM button to change the
default settings.
