1 CLOCK SET setting (page 36)
h Set the camera's clock.
2 INFO DISPLAY setting
h Specify the information to
display on the playback
screen.
SHOW ALL:
Display the capture date
and playback time (video
clips).
DATE & TIME:
Display the capture date.
COUNTER:
Display the playback time
when playing back a video
clip.
OFF:
Do not display the capture
date or playback time.
3 STARTUP DISPLAY setting
h Select the display that
appears on the monitor when
the camera is turned on in the
recording mode.
4 SOUND setting
MIC MODE
h Select the directional
characteristic of the internal
microphone.
WIDE:
Record enhanced stereo
feel.
GUN MIC:
Sound from the subject in
direction of the monitor
center is enhanced.
* The surrounding sound is
not completely eliminated.
* Depending on the ambient
conditions, in some cases
the effect of this setting
may be difficult to
perceive.
ENGAGE ZOOM :
The microphone directional
characteristic is coupled
with the zoom operation. It
shifts within the WIDE to
GUN MIC span in
conjunction with the zoom
movement.
* The zoom-coupled range
is from 1× to 10×. Above
10×, the directional
characteristic is fixed.
OPERATION BEEP
h Settings for the camera's
operation sounds, audio guide
and volume.
TURN ON/OFF:
Mute or enable the sounds
when the camera is turned
on or off.
SHUTTER:
Select the sound that is
produced when the [
button is pressed.
KEY SW:
Select the sound that is
produced when the SET
button, MENU button, etc.
are pressed.
AUDIO GUIDE:
Mute or enable the camera's
audio help guide.
OPERATION VOL:
Adjust the volume of the
operation sounds.
5 POST VIEW setting
h Specify the duration that the
captured image is shown on
the monitor (post-view) after
the [
] button is pressed.
