PANEL DESCRIPTION
SCAN A START/STOP KEY
➥ Push to start and cancel scannng operaton.
In case of transmsson durng scan, scannng wll be can-
celled.
➥ Push and hold ths key for 1 sec. to ndcate the scan lst,
then select the desred scan lst from "SCAN 1" or "ZONE"
usng [CH Up]/[CH Down].
SCAN B START/STOP KEY
➥ Push to start and cancel scannng operaton.
In case of transmsson durng scan, scannng wll be
paused. Then resumes after a specfied tme perod has
passed after the transmsson s finshed.
➥ Push and hold ths key for 1 sec. to ndcate the scan lst,
then select the desred scan lst from "SCAN 1" or "ZONE"
usng [CH Up]/[CH Down].
MONI KEY (Analog mode operaton only)
Mute and release the CTCSS (DTCS) squelch mute. Open
any squelches/deactvate any mutes after pushng and hold-
ng ths key.
LOCK KEY
➥ Push and hold for 1 sec. to electroncally lock all program-
mable keys except the followng:
[Call]* 1 , [Mon]* 2 and [PTT].
* 1 Dgtal mode operaton only.
* 2 Analog mode operaton only.
➥ Push and hold for 1 sec. agan to turn the lock functon
OFF.

USER SET MODE KEY
➥ Push and hold to enter user set mode.
• Durng user set mode, push ths key to select an tem, and
change the value or condton usng push [CH Up]/[CH Down].
➥ Push and hold ths key agan to ext user set mode.
S-RING/RINGER KEY (Analog mode operaton only)
➥ Push to send a Smart-Rng call.
➥ Push and hold to send a Call-Rng.
CODE KEY
Analog mode operation:
➥ Push to enter CTCSS/DTCS tone selecton mode, then
push [CH Up]/[CH Down] to select the desred CTCSS/
DTCS tone.
➥ Push and hold to start the tone scan.
Digital mode operation:
Push to dsplay the programmed Common ID, then push [CH
Up]/[CH Down] to select the desred ID.
MY NAME KEY (Analog mode operaton only)
Push to dsplay the pre-programmed "My Name" text.
AUTO CH KEY (Analog mode operaton only)
Push to start searchng for a clear channel.
A/S KEY
Push to toggle All and Select channel mode.
When All channel mode s selected, nhbted channels wll
be selectable.
