10. Speed pitch
Activate the speed fine-tuning with the Pitch button -18-; the LED display is
illuminated. Hold the pitch button and press "-" button several times to
choose between a pitch range of +/- 4%, +/- 8%, +/- 16% or +/- 100% (a
pitch range of +/- 100% is only feasible for audio CDs). Use the Pitch Fader
-4- to infinitely regulate the speed of the CD within the chosen range. The
deviation from the original speed is indicated in the display. Hold the Pitch
Bend buttons -19- to adjust the speed of the respective track by the pitch
range you select. Release the button for the player to return to the set pitch
speed with the Pitch Fader. By turning the Jog Wheel -8- in play mode the
pitch can also be adjusted by up to +10% (clockwise) or by up to -10%
(counter clockwise). > For more information go to the chapter entitled "Jog

11. BPM
The CD player features an automatic BPM counter. Additionally, the BPM can
be counted manually using the TAP/BPM button -14-. For this, press the
TAP/BPM button -14- to the beat. To return to the automatic BPM count
mode, press and hold the TAP/BPM button -14- for one second. The beat
count continues in automatic mode.
The standard display -M- reads the pitch rating of the respective player. Press
the TAP/BPM button -14- to indicate the BPM value at this point for three
seconds. After three seconds, the display returns to indicating the pitch
rating
12. Faderstart
If you have connected the Connection jacks -20- with the Connection in for
faderstart of your mixing console you can start the respective player from
the mixing console (please follow the instruction manual of your mixing
console).
13. Terminating operation
Before switching off the device with the ON/OFF switch -22- check that no
CDs have been left in one of the CD players. Also, check that the CD trays -
23- are closed. If this is not the case after switching off the device then
switch on the device again and close the open CD trays with the respective
Open/Close button -1-.
