Position crown molding with its WALL CONTACT
EDGE against the guide fence and its CEILING
CONTACT EDGE against the crown molding
stoppers as shown in the figure. Adjust the crown
molding stoppers according to the size of the
crown molding. Tighten the screws to secure the

WARNING:
Never attempt to cut thick or round aluminum

extrusions. Thick or round aluminum extrusions
can be difficult to secure and may work loose
during the cutting operation which may result in
loss of control and serious personal injury.

Wood facing
Use of wood facing helps to assure splinter-free
cuts in workpieces. Attach a wood facing to the
guide fence using the holes in the guide fence and
6 mm screws.
See the figure concerning the dimensions for a
suggested wood facing.

CAUTION:
Use straight wood of even thickness as the wood

facing.
In order to completely cut through workpieces with
•
a height of 102 mm to 120mm a wood facing
should be used on the guide fence. The wood
facing will space the workpiece away from the
fence allowing the blade to complete a deeper cut.
Example:
When cutting workpieces 115 mm and 120
mm high, use a wood facing with the
following thickness.

Use screws to attach the wood facing to the

so that the screw heads are below the surface
of the wood facing so that they will not
