Attach the Safety-in-Operation Warning Labels

1. Attach the furnished safety instruction labels at all fireplace operation and control points (Page 44).
NOTE: The installer MUST ensure these warnings are properly attached during installation. The warning labels are a
critical means of informing consumers of safe operation practices.
Installing Batteries for Backup and Wall Switch

1. Locate the battery backup and place four (4) AA batteries in the backup battery holder (Page XX).
2. Locate the wall switch and secure four (4) AA batteries in the wall switch battery holder (Page XX).
NOTE: Replace batteries as a part of standard maintenance (Page 61) and as needed when troubleshooting (Page
69).
