Using Camera

301Z features an approximately 2.0-megapixel CMOS Camera
capable of capturing photos and videos.
Important
y Lenses soiled with fingerprint smudges and grease may not focus
well. Clean Lens off with a soft cloth.
y Hold handset firmly to avoid camera shaking, which may blur
images especially in dark places.
y If handset has been left in a hot place for a prolonged period of
time, image quality when shooting and saving images may be
affected.
y Exposing Lens to direct sunlight may degrade Internal Color
Filter, resulting in poor image quality.
Shutter Click
Shutter click sounds even in Manner Mode. Sound volume is
fixed. Click sound can be changed (P.6-3).
y Camera cannot be activated when Battery level is low.
y Incoming calls or Alarms while activating or low Battery level
deactivate Camera. If Camera is deactivated when photos are
captured but not yet saved, the photos are retained
automatically. If Camera is deactivated while recording video,
the recorded data until that point is retained in handset.
Activate Camera again to manually save data.
y If no operations are performed for two minutes, Camera
enters Power-saving mode.
