ASSEMBLY INFORMATION - - TRIMMER HEAD TRIMMER HEAD 76 cm NOTE: Remove the blade before attaching the trimmer head. S WHEN BLADE THRUST OCCURS - - Scalping Blade Thrust can occur without warning if the blade snags, stalls, or binds. This is more likely to occur in areas where it is difficult to see the material being cut. By using the unit properly, the occurrence of blade thrust will be reduced and the operator will be less likely to lose control.
S As you move forward to the next area to cut, WARNING: be sure to maintain your balance and footing. The operator or others must not try to clear away cut material with the RECOMMENDED CUTTING POSITION engine running or the blade turning to avoid 2 o’clock serious injury.

CARBURETOR ADJUSTMENT WARNING: Keep others away when making idle speed adjustments. The trimmer head will be spinning during most of this pro- cedure. Wear your protective equipment and observe all safety precautions. After making adjustments, the trimmer head must not move/spin at idle speed.
