When storing the engine install the cap on the exhaust port, carburetor, etc. to prevent dust
from entering the engine. This can cause permanent damage.
Needle
C H E C K I N G T H E E N G I N E
As the engine wears, performance will decrease. It is suggested to replace parts as needed
when the following symptoms are detected.
• Engine sound changes and easily overheats.
• Power has dropped.
Idle Screw
• Idling is unstable and/or engine cuts out when idling.
Low Speed Needle
In most cases, the bearings, piston & sleeve assembly, connecting rod and/or crankcase

Ball Link
Rotate the low speed needle until the head
sticks out 0.5mm from the ball link body.
This is the standard position.
Low Speed Needle
Slide Valve
5.5 turns out. Make adjustments with the slide in the open position.
First rotate the mid needle until its slotted
head is ush with the carburetor body. This is the
standard position.
Mid Needle
2¾ turns out. Make adjustments with the slide in the open position!
