You can manage a Switch using one of the following methods:
Web interface management — Each Switch has an internal set of web
pages that allow you to manage the Switch using a Web browser.
Command line interface management — Each Switch has a command
line interface that allows you to manage the Switch from a terminal.
SNMP management — You can manage a Switch using any Network
Manager running the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP),
such as 3Com Network Supervisor software.
Figure 4 shows how each of these management methods can be used in
a network.
