Plugging in Modules and Ancillary Equipment

The eircom advantage 1200 provides for up to 3 plug-in modules to be connected to the
motherboard. These plug-in modules interface to the mother board via edge pin connectors.
Each connector slots into corresponding sockets on the motherboard and is secured by
mounting pillars that insert into holes located on each daughter card.

Inserting the plug-in Modules
1. Ensure that the unit is unplugged from the power socket and observe the anti-static
precautions.
2. Align the holes on the plug-in module over the support pillars making sure that the pin
connectors match up with the slots on the main board (1).
3. Press slowly and firmly into place until the module is secured (2).
