Laser Micrometers – Safety Considerations
Be sure to avoid direct exposure of human eyes to laser beams emitted from laser diodes. Even though barely visible
and/or invisible to the human eye, they can be quite harmful. In particular, avoid looking directly into a laser diode
or collimated beam along its optical axis when the diode is activated.
LaserLinc, Inc. certifies compliance with U.S. safety regulations (21 CFR Chapter I, Subchapter J) on laser products,
as stipulated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The LaserLinc, Inc. products shown here
correspond to the category "CLASS II LASER PRODUCT" in the regulation.
