10 Troubleshooting

Problem: LED is red and stairclimber does not switch on
Cause: The stairclimber is at too flat an angle and the level switch is
preventing it from switching on
Problem: The main switch does not work even though the handle unit is fitted.
Cause: The lever screw has not been tightened enough, or the handle unit is
mounted back-to-front.
Problem: The climber unit does not run smoothly on the main wheels; it keeps
on braking!
Cause: The lifting frame with the support wheels is not in its neutral position
between the main wheels. Move forwards or backwards using single-step
mode (see section 4.1.3) until the lifting frame stops in the neutral position.
