Adjust Browser Settings

You can control many of the settings for your browser through the browser settings menu
including general page settings, privacy and security, accessibility settings, advanced settings
such as Javascript and plug-ins, bandwidth management, and labs settings.

2. From any open Web page, tap > Settings. You will see the browser settings menu.
3. You can access the following settings menus:

General
• Set homepage: Sets the home page for the Web browser. See

Privacy & security
• Clear cache: Deletes all currently cached data. Tap OK to complete the process.
• Clear history: Clears the browser navigation history. Tap OK to complete the
process.
• Show security warnings: Notifies you if there is a security issue with the current
website.
• Accept cookies: Allows sites that require cookies to save and read cookies from
your phone.
• Clear all cookie data: Clears all current browser cookie files. Tap OK to
complete the process.
• Remember form data: Allows the phone to store data from any previously filled-
out forms.
• Clear form data: Deletes any stored data from previously filled out forms. Tap
OK to complete the process.
• Enable location: Allows sites to request access to your current location (using
the built-in GPS function).
