Selecting the input
source
This section explains how to select the input source
(i.e., the AV component that you want to listen to or
watch).
1. Press 1 (POWER) to turn the unit on.
2. Press RECEIVER.
The button is illuminated.
3. Press INPUT buttons to select a source
The selected input appears on the display
window.
To select the
Blu-ray disc player, etc.,
connected to BD IN jack
DVD player, DVD recorder, etc.,

connected to DVD IN jack
Satellite tuner, set top box, etc,
connected to STB IN jack
TV, etc., connected to OPTICAL
TV IN jack

You can also press FUNCTION on the front
panel.
4. Turn on the component and start playback.
5. To adjust the volume, rotate the VOLUME on the
front panel, or press VOL +/- on remote control.
To activate the muting function
Press MUTE ( ) on the remote control. To cancel,
press MUTE ( ) on the remote control again or
rotate the VOLUME on the front panel.

1. Turn on the TV.

2. Turn on the Blu-ray Disc player or DVD player,
then place the disc on the tray.

3. Turn on the receiver.

to select "BD" or "DVD".

5. Change the TV input.

6. Play back the disc.
